These are the words that help us with reading and writing. We learn new words and add them to our word wall. The first 100 high frequency words make up half of all written material! These words should be automatic. It would be helpful to create duplicate flash cards to play games such as "go fish" and "memory" so that your child will become more familiar with the words.
