Writing Workshop 
During the months of September, October and November:
In writing we learned:
-To use alphabet picture cards to help find letters or letter sounds.
-To stretch out a word to hear all sounds. (tapping out strategy)
-To stretch out a word and write the letters heard
-To put spaces between our words

-To reread our writing while touching each word.  This helps writers catch missed words.

-Every story has a beginning, middle and end. 
-We wrote "I remember" stories
-In writing we discussed all the things to be thankful for and wrote about it.  We also created Thanksgiving turkeys.
