Representing both the preschool and school-age population, C.H.I.L.D. strives to:          

-inform the community by presenting educational programs

-educate parents on how to be their child’s best advocate

-bring parents together for mutual support

The parents and professionals on the C.H.I.L.D. committee are here to offer assistance, answer questions and provide information about special education in the Scarsdale School District.  Monthly meetings feature speakers from the Scarsdale School District as well as noted professionals in the fields of learning disabilities, psychology and medicine.
